The laundry basket story.
When me and Jorine passed by one of the aisles in Woolworths which was displaying the laundry baskets, i was saying: "Hmm maybe i should get one of these...." followed with a "nah, don't think i need it" after a few seconds of consideration.
Then Jorine proceeded to take one of the baskets and demonstrate in front of me how she would carry it. She was really tempted to buy the hip hugging basket because well.. it was hip-hugging and it fits just nice on the hips.. anyway i don't know how it happened but Jorine just took one of the laundry basket and said: "Hmm but it's quite big, will it be difficult to carry it home?"
Seeing that it is just a light-weighted plastic basket i told her not to worry as there were the 2 of us and we can put the groceries inside and just carry the basket back. She then said: "Ooh Ok"and dropped the basket into the trolley.
The story resumes with us arriving at Jorine's place with all our shopping and we met jia Chen right outside the door. He saw the laundry basket and asked whether we bought this to carry the groceries -_- it's a laundry basket hey! We wouldn't bring such a huge basket to the market la!
But then it was what Jorine replied after that which got me perplexed. She said: "Oh this is Chen Yi's laundry basket..." and i was like,"Huh?No! Isn't this yours? You said you wanted to buy it, didn't you?" I thought she was just kidding... but when she replied me with her trademark serious + blur expression, i knew she wasn't. Haha. She replied:"No, i already have one! Didn't you say you want a laundry basket?"
LoLoL in a nutshell, both of us bought the laundry basket thinking that it was the other person who wanted it -_- how blur can we be? But lucky thing we chose the cheapest one! And i don't have a laundry basket anyway so i just took it home.
:)
But still, i think the most uproarious part of yesterday was when the entire kitched was filled with smoke and Jorine thought she saw lightning in her house -_____-""
and the part where Pussycat dolls agreed "OK OK" to jorine's suggestion that the guys should cook every month!!! muahahahhaha I would still hug my stomach and laugh in agony whenever i recall the incident :D

It's like there's a bicycle outside jorine's house, but guess what she said today when Ing asked her to cycle...
"I forgot the number for the lock"

itzi life lovely
Hey guys,
My first post here. hehe.
School is going full speed now . 80km/h . Exam time is worse i think. Guess school life is like that. After working for so long , kind of miss school life. here is it. Have to be on track if not , we will fall behind. and its always much harder to catch up .imagine running after a moving train.
btw , the above video is a random find i got from youtube. Really nice song to listen. jazz. maybe we can all go to a Jazz bar one day. Listen to music and enjoy our self. Everyone can listen but Jorine ( becos her data limit had exceeded). Kind Reminder to Everyone : Please stop Jorine from using the internet.
Oh ya , let's me know if you need any help in some modules especially marketing, i might be able to help.
See ya in school
~ing~
To all of my dearest peeps=)
Yup, that's cause I've been on MSN and Facebook and blogging too much!!! But that's cause I LOVE you guys too much!!! That's why I'm online chatting to you guys(I chat to almost everyone once in a while, especially when planning for outings!!!), posting comments(on Chen Yi's photos???) and blogging about all our funny & memorable moments=) Are you guys feeling LOVED??? Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to push the blame onto you guys, it's just that I feel that I've made an awesome bunch of friends in Uni!!! I never used to pay much attention to Orientations as I think it's a waste of time, and the friends you make in your Ice-breakers group will probably be the first & the last time you'll ever see them, just cause you can't even remember them after the Orientation Week!!!
*Yeap, I gotta admit that I wasn't able to match faces to names during our Orientaion Week, and all I did was ask someone else "What's that person's name again?" :P
HOWEVER, it doesn't seem to be the case for our group!!! I just can't believe how we've managed to all stay in touch, and we've even expanded our family!!! ONE DAY, we might really have a 12 horoscope group, which is what Jorine has been hoping for :P Hehe...
~Our events so far~
080808 at Kings Park
140808 ISS Pizza Party
150808 IndoMee and Apple Strudel Hunt
20082008 at Matilda Bay

210808 One Month Friendship
230808 Fremantle Trip
230808 Fremantle Trip
Needless to say, all of these events we've planned has definitely brought us even closer to one another... Although for every outing, we've always got some people missing out, but that's alright... Our upcoming events will have everyone coming, RIGHT??? =) I know everyone is currently busy with their work, and maybe I should be busy with my 2500 words MO Essay due this Friday which I haven't started yet!!! But I really hope that we'll have AWESOME plans for the Mid-Semester Break=) YES?!?!?! =)

All smiles =)
Same goes for me! I love you people! So so so lucky to have known you guys... i never ever thought that we would still remain so close after the orientation!!! I guess this is all partly contributed by the fact that we have some sorta event organised every week, for us to gather about and have some good fun together. Awesome moments :)
You know sometimes when i'm idle i would just browse through the pictures that we have taken and smile to myself! And it's only been a month! Imagine how many more wonderful memories that we are gonna create in future!! There are still so many unknown places in perth that we have yet to explore... can't wait for mid-sem break so we could go some place further or hopefully have a sleep-over or slumber party somewhere... as we often tied down by time constraints nowadays due to most of us having to get home by dinner time/evening, so i think during the mid-sem breaks we deserve to give ourselves a more-than-once-a-week break to pamper ourselves and be in each others' company. Awwwww getting excited just thinking about it!
Sigh i'm currently stuck at home while you guys are happily touring around Fremantle on a sunny Saturday evening. *Jealous*
Hope you guys are havin a blast! Hmm who's gonna upload the pictures to FB this time? :P

1 Month friendship
HAPPY 1st MONTH TO OUR FRIENDSHIP ! *21.07.08*
Another family photo...*080808*
At the glass bridge *080808*
Apple strudel at northbridge... *15.08.08* ( 1 month in perth)
Proudly present to you my sisters...*taken on 21.08.08*
(credited to both Celia and Chen Yi)
Come to think about it,
it's already been a month since we know each other, but it's as if we have known each other for a long time, isn't it ? ( perhaps it's because we see each other too often ! )
You ppl have really created a HUGE impact in my life! and somehow you all are just like my family in perth..
Let me introduce you my family members in perth now:
Johnson: Big Brother, the eldest in the family. Hard on the surface, but soft inside.
Hard surface - Always have this gloomy look. doesn't really talk much. Hard to understand his thinking.
Soft inside - taking good care of us, ensuring that we have settled well. bringing us around in perth, such as garden city, habourfront, kings park, northbridge.
But my dear brother, pls smile more la ! dun be so lazy k !
Mark: 2nd elder brother. Super skinny, it's as if he's under nutrition. Half indian and half chinese. Doesn't like to eat spicy food. Always have a funny expression, which will make me laugh in somehow.
Hugo: 3rd elder brother, who is taking the biz stats as me. Gives me all the stats tutorial answers. Quite easy to be bullied. But he's definitely the nicest brother of all, cause he seldom bully me. =)
Ing: Eldest sister. she's my very first friend that i know in uwa, cause she's standing beside me. Always take the initiative to ask me to eat my daily meals. Teach me the basic cooking skills. Always there for me whenever i need her.
Chen Yi: My twin sister, cause we are 3 days apart ! both of us are almost equally blur, loves to take pictures, and have the same thinking. But she's more caring, considerate, understanding and efficent (esp in uploading the photos). Plus she have lots of funny expression in photos too !
Feel that there's fate between us. it's so amazing on how we know each other from the housing database, then almost room mates, and then in the same OG, and become real good friends.
Tiffany: Big sister, although she's younger than me a few month. We totally click with each other when we first met, and i find that pretty amazing - taking asian business, dropping it and change to MO and stats. it's just so coincidence that we took the same units. She really takes care of me properly, such as cook curry chicken for me, accompanying me to buy food, revising work together.
Shan Min: the hardworking little sister, who always does her tutorials and revision. Loves taking scenery photos, enjoy travelling. And she's definitely very spontaneous in any outings! you can count on her if you got any homework issues. A future economist !
Celia: the NOISY little sister, who is extremely loud and active in msn, enthusiatic, and definitely loves organising outing. Doesn't like to study at all. Playful at all times. Good in maths. Almost as blur too ! Efficent too, esp in creating this blog. Funny girl, who loves to use CAPS LOCKS and !!!! in msn. *(it's looks so fierce!)
Wendy: the blur little sister, who always very sleepy, tired and get hungry easily. ( she's a natural blur too)
Jia chen: younger brother (by 27 days). Someone who i can turn to whenever i got into trouble ( he's just lives next door). Good in maths, and willing to teach if there's any stats problems. Give me morning calls. Willingly to be my guniea pig so that i can improve my cooking skills.
If you have any illness or no money to see doctor, you can always turn to her! she will help you to diagnose your illness. =P
Thanks for stepping into my uni life in perth! i can't imagine how i can really cope without you ppl around..
Thanks for chasing my loneliness away in perth ! cause i know that i can always look for you whenever i'm down.
Hope there's many more months of friendship to us !
*you've become my basic motivation in my uni life.... always looking forward to every weekend, esp on friday.. =)

Subiaco
After buying all the veggies, we headed to Woolworth.
The auto-matic door didn't open.
Thinking that it might open at a later time ( perhaps 1130am or 12pm), we waited.
Saw Mark and his friends.
And guess what he told us,
...
.......
.............
.......
....
" Subiaco Woolworth supermarket doesn't open on Sunday."

I am 'Jorine'?
Celia: so are we just gonna get one book to share for the group assignment?
Shan: dont know leh. what do u think?
Celia: i dunno. i think its a waste to buy three!!! but if we have one!!! that means we have to meet up for a long period of time to be able to share the book. if not how to compare etc?
Shan: yeah.. but scared not enough leh. and its very expensive to buy.
Celia: yea. and you cant sell it away.
Shan: we share la. i can photocopy in st george's.
Celia: so much meh?
Shan: lol. pick la. im sure not EVERY page is important.
Celia: it is leh. every page needs to be filled up. in a way.
Shan: needs to be FILLED UP. not contain info. i just photocopy the pages with the info. then fill with my own paper la!
Shan: celia celia.. :P
Celia: huh? im jorine now!!!
Shan: you are. *shakes head*
Shan: nvm.. have u seen the book? i wanna go take a look at it.
Celia: what book?
Shan: the fa book.
Shan: gosh.
NOTE: Paiseh, Shan... The jorine-ness is just too formidable to be gotten rid of=)
Jorine~a GAMBLER?
Mark exclaimed: "Why do you have poker cards in your bag?"
And guess what the WORST case was?
Jorine's bag was tiny enough, BUT it's practically EMPTY in there, except with a deck of poker cards!!! Of course, neither her phone nor her wallet was in there=)
Endnote: Jorine managed to find her wallet lying on the ground in her room in a tiny corner=)
the POWER of Tim Tams=)

As a result, while doing her STATS work, she was also enjoying her Tim Tams since the pack was opened. At the same time, Tiffany arrived and was being locked outside. Tiffany shouted for Jorine to open the door, but all Jorine was apparently doing was that she gave an expression saying "I am here sitting happily on the chair, savouring on my Tim Tam. Just shut up and open the door yourself!" Haha=)
Didn't know that Tim Tams would give Jorine such great 'motivation'=)
Random
While taking pictures of us eating apple strudels.. Jorine was holding the camera and focusing on who could fit into the picture. She initially said .. 'Oh can only fit 3 girls in there.'
Then went..
'Oh no. Can fit 4. Johnson you come in la!'
*Hint: She thinks of Johnson as a girl 0.o*
LOL!!! :)

Communication problems??? OR...
You be the Judge!!!
Case Study 1:
Everyone: So, we're all eating Indo Mee for lunch right?
Jorine: Should we cook the noodle first, or the soup first?
NOTE: Since when did Indo Mee introduced the 'soup'?
Case Study 2:
Jorine was talking to Johnson on the phone, asking him when is he coming since all of us have been waiting for ages!!! Johnson said he wasn't going anymore as Jia Chen isn't going too...
(at the same time) Jia Chen texted saying: "I m at home d..go over soon..c ya"
NOTE: More likely like guys don't communicate with each other as well as girls do... =)
Case Study 3:
(on the bus) Mark: "After getting off the bus, we have to walk to the apple strudel place."
(2 seconds later) Jorine: "So we have to walk there huh?"
NOTE: It's just Jorine-ness...
Case Study 4:
(can't remember if it was before or after eating apple strudel) Jorine: "Hey!!! I wanna go to the Swan Tower!!! Haven't been there before!!!"
Everyone: "The Swan Tower or the Bell Tower? You go to the Swan Tower yourself!!!"
NOTE: It's just Jorine-ness... Again :p
Case Study 5:
(Wendy and Shan both have appointments around 4-5, but we were still on the bus at 3.30pm.)
Wendy: "I think my friends have MASS at 4.30pm or 5.30pm, so they probably won't go so early anyway...
Jorine: "You mean, M-A-S-K?"
NOTE: It's just Jorine-ness... Yet again :p
Case Study 6:
Johnson talking to Mark: "You're a Catholic?"
Celia: "You didn't hear him say it on the bus just now?"
Johnson: "As if as I had listened to it just now."
Johnson: "It's just like asking you if you're a girl."
(Ok, I didn't really get that part... But as the convo goes on...)
Tiffany: "So... Are you...?"
Johnson keeps quiet as he is trying to avoid suspicious questions...
For those who didn't get it, Tiffany's question was ambiguous since it could be asking if Johnson was a Catholic, or, well, a girl... It sort of links together with Chen Yi's photo showing Johnson's GAY hands=)
Case Study 7a:
(080808 at Kings Park) When we first reached there, there were Jorine, Shan Min, Chen Yi, Celia, Tiffany, Johnson, Hugo=)
Jorine: "How many of us is there?"
Everyone: "SEVEN."
Jorine started counting: "1,2,3,4,5,6. No, only SIX."
(Moral of the story: Jorine forgot to count herself in!!!)
Case Study 7b:
(at Wellington Bus station) There were Jorine, Shan Min, Chen Yi, Celia, Wendy, Tiffany, Johnson and his friend, Jia Chen, Mark=)
Jorine: "How many of us is there?"
Johnson: "Don't forget to count yourself in this time!!!"
Jorine: "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9."
NOTE: Sigh... Jorine... I know you got distinction for maths, but...
Case Study 8:
Jorine was trying to send off her OSHC, but didn't know what the address format should be. Since Jia Chen was livng right next to her, and he was online, so she asked him.
NOTE: Not the actual convo, but that's probably what happened...
Jia Chen: "My address is 1/42 .................................. Perth WA 6009. You just have to change the number 1 to 2."
(Sometime later, which occurred on 14.8.2008)
Jia Chen rang Jorine to tell her that he has something for her. She went, and this happened...
Jia Chen: "Why did you send your letter to my house for? I told you my address and asked you to change the house number, but instead you put in my address!!!"
NOTE: Oh Dear Jorine... I have nothing to say... It doesn't seem like a communciation problem here, just Jorine-ness...

Privatisation
Celia! Don't go around typing that I said Alex is cute! Gosh :/ hahahaha
If we're going to type things like THAT on the blog, what say you we make it private? OK?!
Ok. I already did it.
;p
Any objections please refer your displeasure to the comment section of this post.
Thank you!
XD
uwa.edu.sg
then there's celia.. who puts http://www.uwa.com.au/ and sits there and waits for the page to load..
i wonder y i hang out with those 2 everyday..
Clarification time:)
according to Shan:
~ her S**** lecturer is so cute - "i went and ask him question after lecture today and he was like 'HII!!",
therefore Jorine is considering of attending "the 8am lecture one day" by exclaiming: "
to see how CUTE A*** is !!!"
*Jia Chen wasn't the main reason...*
Though Shan did warned that "if u dont think hes cute not my prob ah! maybe we got different taste"
GOSH!!! How funny can both of you be?
All Jorine can think of...
She says she hasn't encountered guys who loves swimming, and because Jia Chen is the first guy she knows who loves swimming, so she's going to the extent where "perhaps i shall go to the 8am lecture one day. he swims at 11am to 2pm.. when i'm having lecture ma." =)
Nevertheless, her main aim was to "go pool there to see if there's any MACHO guys.. XD" =)
And when asked if all she ever thinks about is guys who can swim, she exclaimed: "hahaha. that's the only time when you can see if the guy got 6pecs anot ma.. =x"
And this all comes down to-as quoted by Jorine: "we need MOTIVATION in uni k !"
NOTE: Jorine, as much as I agree wtih you, this is still going way too extreme!!! Haha...
And Jia Chen, BEWARE of Jorine:) Lol...
Although Shan had agreed with me for a moment: "omg. u and guys who swim."
(1 minute later) Shan: "get me a guy who plays tennis can?!" =)
YES!!! This is how fast 'overdose of Jorine' spreads!!! And this is spreading through the net... Can you imagine how fast it would be standing next to her???
A chat box for this blog!
Jorine and her fruit jokes (cont')
This is what he said (in one of the many comments in my photo album in Facebook):
know wat...last night when i was cutting pumpkin...she asked if it is honey dew...=.="
and then i cut one slice let her try...she bite it and asked me why its so hard...@.@
Lol Jorine i feel like squeezing you! I can just picture you saying that! It's so you hahahaha!

Jorine : "Eh that one cannot eat wan meh?! I didn't know leh!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
No offense ya Jorine, you're just too cute!
The first sign has already occured!!!
I was wondering why there's 2 posts, but when I check the blog...
There's only 1!
What happened to the other post???
So I went to check the normal log...

The title and The blog:)
Secondly, this blog was also purely generated for the sake of Jorine-our dearest, yet blur-est friend;) It is to remember her and her blur-ness, together with the 'overdose of Jorine' being passed on to others, especially Chen Yi, Shan Min, and of course, Me;)
